Weapon Secret - Multipliers & Coefficient of Attack

Do u ever wonder y the same weapons with same Atk value make different DMG sometime?


If u dont understand yet... then take a look !!


For every weapon, other than their stated Atk Value,
there are other numbers work with it  -
to determine how much damage u will make regarding enemy's DEF.



These numbers - We named it
"Coefficient of Attack" [CoA] & "Multiplier".



And this post basic explain how "Multiplier + CoA" Works.


how Attack power is calculated -
  • Total Attack Value = (Sum of Atk. on ur Weapon, Gear and item) x Attack Multiplier
  • Effective Attack Vaule - 
    • if Total Attack Value > 200
      • Effective Atk. Value =
        200 + (Total Atk. Value - 200) / 2
    • if Total Attack Value < or = 200
      • Effective Atk. Value = Total Attack Value
how Defense Power is calculated -
  • Total Defense Value =  (Sum of Def. on ur Weapon, Gear and item) x Defense Multiplier
  • Effective Defense Value
    • if Total Defense Value < 200
      • Effective Def. Value =
        Total Def. Value + (200 - Total Def Value)/10
    • if Total Defense Value > or = 200
      • Effective Def. Value  = Total Defense Value

Calculation of Damage to enemy -

Base Damage =
(Effective Attack Vaule / Effective Defense Value) x CoA
  • To find out CoA - Coefficient of Atk - of each weapon,
    plz check WeaponInfo at the right of blog.
Effective Damage = Base Damage x Life Penalty (see chart below)

Elemental Damage =
Effective Damage x Elemental Multiplier (see chart below)

Final (REAL/Total) Damage =
(Effective Damage + Elemental Damage) x Juggled Penalty
  • Juggled Penalty is 1 for not Juggled.
  • 0.5 for being Juggled.
